LA Opera to Present Company Premiere of
Verdi's Requiem
At 2007/08 Opening Weekend Celebration

Plácido Domingo Conducts LA Opera Orchestra and Chorus with Soloists
Adrianne Pieczonka, Stephanie Blythe, Jonas Kaufmann and René Pape
Sunday, September 9 at 2:00pm

- "Los Angeles Opera will present Giuseppe Verdi's Requiem at 2:00pm on September 9, 2007, at Dorothy Chandler Pavilion," said Plácido Domingo, the Eli and Edythe Broad General Director, who will conduct the performance. "The Requiem will be performed by the LA Opera Orchestra and the LA Opera Chorus, prepared by Grant Gershon in his debut season as Chorus Master. Four internationally renowned soloists will be featured: soprano Adrianne Pieczonka, mezzo-soprano Stephanie Blythe, and in their Company debuts, tenor Jonas Kaufmann and bass René Pape. The performance will take place as part of the Company's Opening Weekend Celebration, one day after LA Opera begins its 2007/08 Season on September 8 with Beethoven's Fidelio. "This performance of the Requiem, replaces a previously announced "Plácido Domingo and Friends Gala."

Although intensely dramatic in nature, the Requiem is the best known non-operatic work by Giuseppe Verdi, the greatest of all Italian opera composers. Composed during his presumed retirement after the great success of Aida, Verdi assumed that the Requiem would be his final composition. (Much later, he would be persuaded to compose his final masterpieces, Otello and Falstaff.) The Requiem was written to honor one of the central figures of 19th-Century Italian cultural life, Alessandro Manzoni. The poet, novelist and political leader was, like Verdi, a passionate advocate of Italian independence and unification. After Manzoni's death in 1873, Verdi remembered his earlier plan to compose a funeral mass for Gioacchino Rossini in collaboration with several other important Italian opera composers; the Messa per Rossini never came to pass, but Verdi had completed a "Libera Me" section, which he reworked and expanded as part of his new Requiem. On the one-year anniversary of Manzoni's death, May 22, 1874, Verdi himself conducted the premiere of the Requiem at the Church of San Marco in Milan, with a repeat performance three days later at La Scala.

LA Opera's first ever presentation of the Verdi Requiem will feature an impressive quartet of world-class vocalists. Canadian soprano Adrianne Pieczonka, who made her LA Opera debut as Elsa in Lohengrin in 2001, has also appeared with the Company as the Marschallin in Der Rosenkavalier (2005) and the Countess in Le Nozze di Figaro (2006) and she will return to sing the title role in Tosca here in 2008. She recently had an enormous success as Sieglinde in Die Walküre at the Bayreuth Festival. American mezzo-soprano Stephanie Blythe, who made her LA Opera debut in 1998 as Mistress Quickly in Falstaff, has rapidly become one of the most highly respected artists of her generation, with appearances during the 2006/07 season as Azucena in Il Trovatore with Covent Garden, Isabella in L'Italiana in Algeri with the Seattle Opera, and in three roles in a new production of Il Trittico with the Metropolitan Opera. German tenor Jonas Kaufmann, who will make his LA Opera debut, has recently emerged as one of the most exciting tenors of his generation, with upcoming appearances as Alfredo in La Traviata with the Paris Opera, La Scala, the Metropolitan Opera and Covent Garden; as Rodolfo in La Bohème with the Berlin Staatsoper; and as Chevalier des Grieux in Manon with the Vienna Staatsoper. German bass René Pape, who also will make his LA Opera debut, was recently honored by the Metropolitan Opera Guild at the second annual Opera News Awards for his distinguished contributions to opera. So far during 2007, he has been heard as Sarastro in Die Zauberflöte with the Metropolitan Opera; and Gurnemanz in Parsifal and the title role in Boris Godunov with the Berlin Staatsoper, where he will also be heard as King Philip in Don Carlo.

Tickets to the Verdi's Requiem range from $15 to $250. Advance reservations are available by phone at (213) 972-8001. Disability access: (213) 972-0777. TDD: (213) 972-7615.

ATEME MPEG-4 Encoding Technology is Key Component in First Public Demonstration of Next-Generation High-Def Standard ATEME™ SA,

,

an acknowledged leader in MPEG-4 video compression solutions, today announced that ATEME’s world-leading encoding technology was selected for use in the first public Ultra HD demonstration with MPEG-4 AVC (H.264) by NHK in Tokyo. The company is cooperating closely with NHK Labs in the design and development of this next-generation standard. NHK, which first began research into HD in 1964, has now started public testing of the next-generation Ultra HD standard in 2007. NHK's Ultra HD technology includes a resolution of 7680 x 4320, which is up to 16X clearer than HDTV. The prototype super-fast cameras can capture data at a rate of 4,000 frames per second and the audio component is 22.2 (as compared to today’s 5.1 surround sound). Ultra HD cameras, recorders, encoders and projectors are being developed now - 2009 will mark the introduction of the full specification for Ultra HD. NHK estimates that satellite transmission tests will begin in 2011, and by 2020, Ultra HD will be ready for broadcast to households. Ultra HD broadcasting consumes a tremendous amount of bandwidth - 18 minutes of uncompressed footage consumes 3.5 terabytes of data and one minute of uncompressed footage consumes 194 gigabytes. The use of ATEME’s MPEG-4 AVC compression technology dramatically reduces the bandwidth requirements while maintaining the best quality. “We are very excited to be partnered with NHK - the leading broadcaster in the world for advanced technology implementation - for Ultra HD,” said Benoit Fouchard, Vice President of Sales, Broadcast and Broadband for ATEME. “ATEME’s MPEG-4 AVC encoding has always been accepted as the world’s best, and NHK’s sole reliance on our technology proves we are fully capable of scaling to the ultimate in bandwidth and quality requirements for HD. We are very proud to be working with them and look forward to a continued partnership with NHK.” ATEME (www.ateme.com) is a world-leading provider of MPEG-4 / H.264 video compression solutions. In Recognition of National Missing Children's Day, the Wireless Industry
Urges Cell Phone Users to Sign Up to Receive Free Wireless AMBER Alerts™

– National Missing Children's Day will be observed tomorrow, May 25, 2007. The wireless industry, in partnership with the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and the U.S. Department of Justice, supports this important day and reminds wireless consumers of the vital role they can play to aid in the recovery of abducted children by registering to receive free Wireless AMBER Alerts™. Nearly 30 wireless carriers which collectively serve over 93% of all U.S. wireless subscribers currently offer the Wireless AMBER Alerts™ program to their subscribers.

"National Missing Children's Day is a critical reminder of the dangers facing abducted children," said Steve Largent, President of The Wireless Foundation and President and CEO of CTIA-The Wireless Association®. "Through the Wireless AMBER Alerts™ program, the technology millions of people use every single day to catch up with friends and family can now be used to help catch a child abductor. I encourage all wireless users to go to www.wirelessamberalerts.org and sign up at no cost to receive free text messages anytime an AMBER Alert has been issued in their area."

President Ronald Reagan designated May 25 as National Missing Children's Day in 1983. Since then, every acting President has honored the day. It was on May 25, 1979, that six-year-old Etan Patz disappeared from a New York City street corner on his way to school. This high profile case, the tragic abduction and murder of Adam Walsh from Florida and the 29 murdered children and young adults of Atlanta served as catalysts for new laws to protect children from those who would harm them and sparked the creation of NCMEC.

"This National Missing Children's Day we celebrate the strong partnership between the public and private sectors who work together to recover abducted children," said Regina B. Schofield, Assistant Attorney General for the Office of Justice Programs and the National AMBER Alert Coordinator. "Through the Wireless AMBER Alerts initiative anyone with a cell phone can play a vital role in keeping our children safe."

AMBER stands for "America's Missing: Broadcast Emergency Response" and was created in 1996 when Dallas-Fort Worth broadcasters teamed with local police to develop an early warning system to find abducted children. The AMBER Alert Program was soon adopted across the nation and is a legacy to Amber Hagerman, a 9-year-old girl who was kidnapped while riding her bicycle in Arlington, Texas, and then murdered. All 50 states, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Washington DC have since established AMBER Alert programs.

President Bush authorized the national AMBER Alert program as part of the PROTECT Act signed in 2003. The law formally established the federal government's role in the AMBER Alert program, appointing the Department of Justice as the agency responsible for coordinating AMBER Alerts on the national level. The wireless industry has officially partnered with the U.S. Department of Justice and NCMEC to make free Wireless AMBER Alerts available to cell phone subscribers.

"We commemorate National Missing Children's Day to honor the lives of children who have been reunited with their families, those who did not make it home safely, and those for whom we are diligently searching today," said Ernie Allen, NCMEC President and CEO. "This day also serves as an excellent reminder of the resources available to the public when a child is missing or abducted, such as Wireless AMBER Alerts. This initiative provides citizens with the opportunity to help make a difference in an abducted child's life."

Any wireless subscriber capable of receiving text messages, and whose wireless carrier participates in the Wireless AMBER Alerts™ initiative, may opt in to receive Alerts by completing a simple registration process at www.wirelessamberalerts.org or their wireless carrier's website.

More than 330 children have been successfully recovered as a result of the AMBER Alert network.

AT&T Government Solutions, a business unit of AT&T Inc. (NYSE: T), brought together federal agency representatives for a detailed look at AT&T's broad portfolio of products, services and capabilities for Networx Universal, a multibillion telecommunications network and services contract awarded by the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA). AT&T hosted the Networx Universal Program Launch meeting today at its Oakton, Va., operations.

During the seminar, AT&T unveiled its Transition Management Center, where AT&T PMP-certified program managers and staff showcased tools, resources, inventory management and processes that will be used for agencies that will partner with AT&T for their transitions. The seminar enabled federal government representatives to learn more about AT&T's powerful combination of dedicated transition operations, proven capabilities and in-depth experience transitioning thousands of complex networks for large enterprises.

AT&T also detailed its products and services for Mobility, Network Disaster Recovery and Continuity of Operations, Security, Order Processing and Billing, Managed Services and Services Management, including its award-winning, Web-based customer portal, BuisnessDirect®.

"AT&T is dedicated to helping federal agencies service their customer needs today while charting a course for tomorrow's technologies," said Don Herring, senior vice president, AT&T Government Solutions. "Since our goal is to be the trusted, experienced partner for managing each agency through its transition, we take a tailored, customer-focused approach to each agency's transition time frame. With our proven track record of past performance, combined with innovation from AT&T Labs and our Networx partners, we'll help agencies maximize the opportunities while minimizing the risks of transition."

"Today, security is a major challenge facing every federal agency," said Ed Amoroso, chief information security officer of AT&T. "Networx provides agencies with a suite of capabilities to accommodate the heightened importance of security in the federal government. AT&T's Defense-In-Depth strategy can address security from the core of the network to the application."

Networx is an Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a potential value of $20 billion over the next 10 years that consists of two contract vehicles: Networx Universal and Networx Enterprise. Through its Networx Universal award, AT&T can provide a full range of network and communications services to federal government agencies. AT&T also bid on Networx Enterprise, which is expected to be awarded later this month. Networx will replace the expiring GSA FTS2001 and FTS2001 Crossover contract vehicles.

Recently, AT&T received Notice to Proceed (NTP) from the GSA on its Networx Universal contract and is proceeding with verification testing of systems to support the mandatory and optional Networx services under the Networx Universal award. AT&T has invested millions in enhancing its advanced federal government-specific OSS infrastructure and processes for Networx.

Free Cable for iPod is Perfect for Dads, Grads and Music Lovers

Alpine Electronics of America, Inc. today announced the company’s new “Get Up To Speed” promotion. The promotion serves to highlight Alpine’s superior iPod® connectivity solution by pairing the KCE-422i Full Speed Connection™ for iPod cable with two of Alpine’s best-selling head units, the CDA-9885 and the CDA-9883. During this promotion, from June 1 through July 31, U.S. and Canadian customers will receive a free KCE-422i Full Speed cable at participating authorized Alpine dealers (while supplies last) with the purchase of the CDA-9885 ($350 SRI, U.S.) or CDA-9883 ($230 SRI, U.S.). The KCE-422i represents a $30 value (U.S.).

The campaign will include web marketing on select music sites and through keyword search ads. Dealers will receive in-store display trim rings to advertise the promotion. The promotion will be highlighted in the dealer newsletter to familiarize the sales floor with the product and promotion details. Consumers will be informed through a call-out on the home page of Alpine’s web site and from the consumer e-newsletter.

“Alpine understands consumers’ desire for easy and fast iPod connectivity in the vehicle,” said Stephen Witt, vice president, Marketing, Alpine Electronics. “This promotion makes it possible for consumers to not only upgrade their head unit to a great-sounding Alpine, but also to be able to quickly and easily access their iPod music on the road.”

The CDA-9885 and CDA-9883 are designed for consumers who want to create a system focused around a full-featured head unit. Both units offer a built-in 18W x 4 RMS amplifier and HP crossover. The CDA-9885 has 3 pre-outs (4V) and comes with a remote control. The CDA-9883 has 3 pre-outs (2V) and is remote control ready. The KCE-422i Full Speed Connection for iPod allows fast access of iPod music through two unique features. The Percentage Search feature takes the iPod’s music library and divides it into six alphabetic groups, accessible through the six preset buttons on the head unit. This unique feature lets users jump to a section of the library instead of individually scrolling through files, allowing them to quickly and intuitively scroll to their favorite song. Designed for the digital media consumer, the Quick Search function on the head units offers fast navigation of large music libraries by playlists, artists, albums, songs, genres or podcasts.

NewTek's 3D Arsenal™ wins "Best of NAB" Award from EventDV Magazine

Leading video magazine selects 3D Arsenal as top choice for easy 3D graphics

NewTek, Inc., manufacturer of industry-leading video and 3D animation products, was recently presented with an EventDV Magazine "Best of NAB" Award for the company's new 3D Arsenal™ application. The awards are voted on by the editors of EventDV Magazine based on the demonstrations and presentations they saw at NAB. Winners were selected from a large group of products and categories. EventDV Magazine chose to recognize 3D Arsenal as one of the best new products they saw. The complete list of winners including NewTek's 3D Arsenal and NewTek's TriCaster Studio™ will be listed in the June issue of EventDV Magazine.

"For years, NewTek has been a recognized leader in the development of professional 3D animation systems," said Jay Roth, President NewTek 3D Division. "One of our key missions is to make it easier for more and more people to produce dynamic motion graphics and effects, 3D Arsenal is a first step along that path and it is very rewarding to see our efforts recognized with this honor."

said Jay Roth, President NewTek 3D Division.

NewTek's 3D Arsenal is a collection of software content and training that makes creating 3D motion graphics quick and easy. The system, based on NewTek's award winning 3D animation, modeling and rendering technology provides output of the highest quality. 3D Arsenal combines a large selection of royalty free pre-made content, an hour of video training and a new streamlined 3D workflow to deliver an application that any non linear editor can use the first time they try. 3D Arsenal also outputs multiple file formats making it compatible with every NLE system on the Mac or PC. With additional content packs to follow for churches, schools, sports and more, 3D Arsenal is the ultimate add-on to any NLE system on the Mac or Windows platforms.

"I was at NAB and I'm here to tell you... there is nothing like 3D Arsenal out there," said Lisa Wood, Vice President of Computerwise Video, Inc, Logan Utah. "I have always been afraid of 3D animation programs, for me they are just too complex. The beauty of 3D Arsenal is that it is simple, easy to use and the results are killer! I had to create a 15-second animation to run at the local theatre as an ad before the movies start. I was able to create a totally custom animation that rocked, and get paid the first day I used it! I love 3D Arsenal!"

said Lisa Wood, Vice President of Computerwise Video, Inc, Logan Utah.

'At World's End' Is Selling Three Times as Many Advance Tickets as 'Dead Man's Chest'

As a strong indicator of fan anticipation for Thursday night's opening of "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End," the film's advance ticket sales are swelling on Fandango, the nation's leading moviegoer destination.

* 85 percent say they are not influenced by critics' reviews when they

decide what movies to see during the summer.

Sundance Cinemas, Joseph Freed and Associates Announce Denver Site at Metropolitan Gardens

Theatre Groundbreaking Set for Winter, 2007

Sundance Cinemas and developer Joseph Freed and Associates LLC announced today that they have entered into an agreement for a site in Denver, Colorado. The six-screen theatre will be located at Metropolitan Gardens, a large mix-use transit-oriented development just south of downtown Denver.

Sundance Cinemas, slated to open in the Spring, 2010, will be the fourth in the growing chain of Sundance theatres and will anchor Denver's newest mixed-use neighborhood on the site of the former Gates Rubber Factory in Denver.

The Sundance Cinemas theatre will feature all stadium seating, bars and bistros, Sundance Gallery retail, superior presentation and unique pre-show programming with shorts and features from the Sundance Channel. As in all Sundance Cinemas, the presentation will be commercial free.

"Denver is an important driver in the notion of the New West while still inherently embracing the independent, pioneering spirit of the Western legacy," said Robert Redford, Sundance Group President "It's a terrific community for Sundance to join."

Metropolitan Gardens is a premier mixed-use transit-oriented redevelopment located just minutes from downtown Denver via light rail or car. It features over one million square feet of dynamic retail, restaurant and entertainment venues, 450,000 square feet of office space, approximately 22o0 residential units, two hotels with 150 rooms each and approximately 7,700 parking spaces.

The project also features a transit station that will link it to the city's giant rail project, FasTracks. The sustainable architecture, green space and parks planned for the development will compliment the enticing views of the Denver skyline and the Rocky Mountains.

Cherokee Denver, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Cherokee Investment Partners, is the current site owner. Joseph Freed and Associates LLC will be the developer for the project.

Larry Freed, President of Joseph Freed and Associates LLC said, "This is a very special day for the Metropolitan Gardens project. We are extremely proud that Sundance Cinemas has already opened its first movie theatre at our Hilldale Mall in Madison, Wisconsin. Working with the Sundance team here will help to achieve our goal of creating an environmentally sensitive mixed-use project that will attract Denver residents and visitors alike."

Sundance Cinemas at Metropolitan Gardens in Denver will break ground in Winter 2007.

"Sundance Cinemas couldn't be happier to be working with Joseph Freed and Associates," said Paul Richardson, CEO and President. "As witnessed by the success of our first location in Madison, they are fantastic partners. This Denver site fits in with our plan to build premium facilities for discriminating audiences across the country."

"The redevelopment of the former Gates Rubber Factory site is a tremendous opportunity not only for the surrounding neighborhoods, but for the entire city," said Denver Mayor John Hickenlooper. "With this public-private partnership that now includes Sundance Cinemas, we are setting a high standard for future mixed-use and transit-oriented development, urban infill and smart growth in Denver. We are thrilled Sundance Cinemas has chosen Denver and welcome this new arts and culture option to the Mile High City."

Cherokee Denver LLC president Ferd Belz enthusiastically endorsed bringing Sundance Cinemas to the project. He said "We are excited to be working with Joseph Freed and Associates on this project. They are a great mixed-use developer who shares our vision for this project. Bringing Sundance Cinemas to this property is the first step in fulfilling that vision."

-- On Thursday, May 24, San Francisco-based pop/rock singer-songwriter Raquel Aurilia -- whose debut album Finding My Way was just released -- will perform at S.F. venue Ruby Skye as part of the special fundraising event Strikeouts For Troops Giants Jam, in partnership with the Giants Community Fund. A national non-profit organization and project to benefit war-wounded service people undergoing treatment and rehabilitation at Walter Reed, Bethesda Naval, Brooke Army and other military hospitals, Strikeouts For Troops was founded by S.F. Giants star pitcher Barry Zito.

Tickets for the May 24 benefit concert, which kicks off at 7PM, are $100. In addition to Aurilia's set, the show will feature a special performance by rock legend Eddie Money and an onstage Giants Jam with Barry Zito, shortstop Omar Vizquel and Sally Zito. Singer-songwriter Jeff Austin Black will also appear, and a silent auction will offer up a guitar autographed by all the Giants All-Stars. A pre-show VIP/Sponsor reception for major donors and guests will be held from 5:30-7PM in one of Ruby Skye's luxurious VIP spaces. Since its 2005 launch, Strikeouts For Troops has raised close to $500,000 from donations made by over 30 professional baseball players -- based on their on-field achievements -- fundraising events and contributions from fans. For the 2007 season, Barry Zito has pledged to donate $400 to the charity for every strikeout he records. Strikeouts For Troops makes financial grants to wounded troops to provide "comforts of home" during rehabilitation and also funds travel for family members to visit hospitalized relatives, meals on Christmas and Thanksgiving and phone cards and gifts for military children, among other efforts. Their May 24 Giants Jam event is in association with the team's Giants Community Fund as part of the Fund's charitable outreach program.

Singer-songwriter Raquel Aurilia, who's married to Giants infielder Rich Aurilia, recently released her debut album Finding My Way on Shea Records with national distribution through Aezra/EMI. Both the album and the lead single "Where Was I" -- which is currently in the Top 10 at #9 on FMQB's AC chart -- are also available for download on iTunes. Raquel collaborated on Finding My Way with a team of seasoned music world veterans including GRAMMY-winner Tony Papa (Survivor, Weird Al Yankovic, Sylvie Vartan, James Brown), who produced and mixed the disc. Other stand-out tracks include "Feels Like" -- which won AC radio buzz last year during an advance release of the song -- and "The Need," an uplifting ballad released as a limited-edition CD single to benefit Hurricane Katrina victims via an '06 Major League Baseball fundraiser.

Proposal Would Decimate Internet Radio Industry

SaveNetRadio Rejects SoundExchange Offer to 'Small Webcasters'

In response to SoundExchange's announcement today that it plans to offer those they designate as "small webcasters" an extension of current royalty rates through 2010, SaveNetRadio has released the following statement:

"The proposal made by SoundExchange today would throw 'large webcasters' under the bus and end any 'small' webcaster's hopes of one day becoming big," SaveNetRadio spokesperson Jake Ward said. "Under government-set revenue caps, webcasters will invest less, innovate less and promote less. Under this proposal, Internet radio would become a lousy long-term business, unable to compete effectively against big broadcast and big satellite radio -- artists, webcasters, and listeners be damned."

"Labeling webcasters small or large is a distinction without a difference," continued Ward. "Two of the most prominent webcasters, Pandora.com and Live365 are models of industry success but would be bankrupted by the CRB and by the SoundExchange proposals. Pandora employs 100 people in an enterprise zone in Oakland, California, but its popularity would put it out of business. Similarly, Live365, an aggregate webcaster that provides a platform for more than 10,000 individual webcasters, has a staff of fewer than 40. Though clearly small as a business, Live365's enormous importance and scope among webcasters would force them to shut down."

By broadcast radio standards, even the largest webcasters (i.e., the Internet radio divisions of Yahoo! and AOL) are small broadcasters. (A few years ago, broadcast groups that didn't even make the list of the 40 largest radio companies -- Fisher, Service B'casting, Arso Radio, Curtis Media, Mid- West Family, Hubbard, etc. -- all had annual revenues of over $20 million, making them larger than the largest webcaster.)

The revenue caps SoundExchange is proposing are an extension of those put in place during the 2000-05 period which created an insurmountable barrier to growth for small webcasters. This revenue cap has had the perverse and unintended consequence of forcing thousands of webcasters to stay small if they want to stay alive, thereby weakening the industry -- the very opposite of Congress' intention.

Under the "willing buyer / willing seller" standard set by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, the distinction between "large" and "small" is irrelevant. Indeed, it is that standard, combined with the judges interpretation, that led to this unexpected consequence of a royalty rate increase on March 2nd. A standard that would set a royalty rate more than 300% of a webcaster's revenue was not what Congress had in mind, and it must be adjusted if the industry is going to survive.

SaveNetRadio is a national coalition comprised of hundreds of thousands of webcasters, artists, listeners and labels from throughout the country committed to preserving the future of Internet radio.

Legislation currently before Congress, H.R. 2060 and S. 1353 -- the Internet Radio Equality Act -- would vacate the Copyright Royalty Board's decision and set a 2006-2010 royalty rate at the same level currently paid by satellite radio services (7.5% of revenue.) The bill would also change the royalty rate-setting standard used in royalty arbitrations, so that the standard applied to webcasters would align with that applied to satellite radio.

GSN Acquires Primetime Network Game Show 'SHOW ME THE MONEY'

William Shatner-Hosted Skein Airs on GSN Beginning Tuesday, June 12 at 8PM and Includes Two Unaired Episodes

GSN has acquired rights to SHOW ME THE MONEY, the high-energy game show hosted by William Shatner. It will air on GSN Tuesdays at 8 PM beginning June 12. The seven episodes include two which never aired during ABC's original 2006 run. These never-before-seen episodes will make their television premiere on GSN July 17 and July 24.

Produced by Endemol USA and distributed by Disney-ABC Domestic Television, SHOW ME THE MONEY features Shatner as master of ceremonies with "Million-dollar Dancers" as his on-stage helpers and spontaneous dance partners.

"SHOW ME THE MONEY is the perfect marriage of a game show and a variety show," said Jamie Roberts, Senior VP, Programming, GSN. "We think our viewers will enjoy this winning combination."

SHOW ME THE MONEY features contestants answering a series of trivia questions. After each answer, contestants choose from among thirteen beautiful dancers on stage, all of which are holding a scroll with a dollar amount printed on it. If the contestant's answer to the question is correct, the recently-revealed dollar amount is added to their pot. Conversely, if they answer incorrectly, the dollar amount is subtracted from their winnings. The dollar amounts on each scroll vary greatly, intensifying the drama and the need for correct answers; depending on which dancer the contestant chooses, even seemingly huge gains can be decimated in an instant. Contestants are also required to continue playing until all dancers have been called upon, allowing no opportunity to play cautiously by calling it quits while they are ahead.

Host William Shatner, best-known for originating the role of Captain James T. Kirk in the iconic 1960s Star Trek series currently stars in his Emmy-winning role as Denny Crane on "Boston Legal." SHOW ME THE MONEY was executive produced by Mike Nichols.

The rock celebration started with a "sharp dressed" Nickleback paying tribute to ZZ Top with a performance of "Sharp Dressed Man." Then ZZ Top rocked the house as they took the stage with "Gimme All Your Lovin" and "La Grange/Tush."

Nancy Wilson joined tribute artists Gretchen Wilson and Alice in Chains in their rendition of Heart's "Barracuda." Heart then blasted on to the stage with their fan favorites "Straight On" and "Crazy On You."

Keane's haunting sounds of Genesis' "That's All" set the stage for the newly-reunited members of Genesis to perform "No Son of Mine" and "Turn It On Again."

Queens of the Stone Age gave an explosive performance of Ozzy Osbourne's "Paranoid" followed by the "Prince Of Darkness" himself taking the stage to perform his new single "I Don't Wanna Stop" and the classic "Crazy Train."

The show also included appearances by Cameron Diaz, Jada Pinkett Smith, Billy Bob Thornton, Robin Williams, Criss Angel and Taylor Hawkins as they paid tribute to the legends that influenced the sound of rock.
