ALL DAY PREMIERE OF 'TEENAGE LOVE AFFAIR' VIDEO ON BET AND KEYS TO HOST 106 & PARK ON APRIL 23rd

NEW YORK, April 16 -- After wowing fans during her successful sold-out European tour, MBK/J Records' global superstar Alicia Keys is just days away from bringing that same excitement on the North American leg of her As I Am Tour presented by Lexus. Joined by American Idol winner Jordin Sparks and Grammy-nominated R&B singer/songwriter Ne-Yo, the As I Am Tour presented by Lexus, kicks off April 19th in Hampton, VA. The tour continues on across the US and Canada, and will conclude on June 18th at Madison Square Garden in Alicia's hometown of New York City. Due to popular demand, new dates have been added in Memphis, Anaheim and Sacramento (updated tour dates listed below).

"I wanted to make this show unique and different from my standard style show, so the approach of this tour is like a journey; from the beginning of my life, leading up to where we are now," comments Keys. "I'm communicating a lot to the audience through the music and by talking and sharing personal stories," she adds. Throughout the duration of the tour, Keys will also communicate with her fans that call her at 917-934.3319 and provide them with tour updates and other exciting news.

Keys will give millions of morning TV viewers a mere sample of her stage show when she kicks off NBC's popular "Toyota Concert Series on Today" on April 21st. Keys is set to perform her hit single "No One," as well as her new single "Teenage Love Affair" for the first time on national television.

Keys' new single, the endearing "Teenage Love Affair," is set to impact radio April 21st. The Chris Robinson directed video for the single pays homage to the 20th anniversary of Spike Lee's classic film School Daze, with cameos by the film's original cast member Giancarlo Esposito (Julian), actors Derek Luke (Glory Road, Antwone Fisher), Tristan Wilds (The Wire), and R&B singer Anthony Hamilton. On April 23rd, BET will conduct an all-day premiere of the video and Keys will host the popular video countdown program 106 & Park.

Ignited by her first two hit singles "No One" and "Like You'll Never See Me Again," Keys' internationally-acclaimed third studio album As I Am (MBK/J Records), has sold over 5 million copies worldwide since its November 2007 release. The disc has claimed the #1 spot for several non-consecutive weeks on Billboard's Top 200 Albums chart and the single "No One," earned Keys two Grammy Awards for Best R&B Song and Best Female R&B Vocal Performance. Additionally, Keys received four awards at the NAACP Image Awards and was honored at the first annual BET Honors ceremony.

Not one to rest on her laurels and accolades, Alicia continues her philanthropic outreach as the Co-Founder and Global Ambassador of Keep A Child Alive (KCA) by offering a free download of her inspirational documentary Alicia in Africa: Journey to the Motherland. Directed by South African filmmaker Earle Sebastian, the documentary follows Keys' month-long trip to Africa to visit communities affected by HIV and AIDS pandemic in South Africa, Kenya and Uganda. The documentary can be viewed in its entirety at www.aliciainafrica.com or downloaded courtesy of the film's exclusive web partner www.spiralfrog.com. Additionally, Keys will screen the Alicia in Africa trailer before each concert on her North American tour.

With an impressive combination of heartfelt, award-winning music, a burgeoning acting career and noble humanitarian efforts, Keys continues to demonstrate that she's one of the most influential persons of her generation.

WALTER TROUT unleashes BREAK-OUT U.S. RELEASE on

PROVOGUE RECORDS

THE OUTSIDER hit’s the U.S.A on June 24th

NORTH AMERICAN TOUR STARTS NOW!

HOLLYWOOD ( April 1, 2008 ) – On June 24th, Walter Trout will release his long awaited studio album, "The Outsider", through Provogue Records.  The Jersey born Guitar-Master delivers a triple threat CD that is an autobiographical reflection, inspired by a multi-faceted life. The Outsider”, was produced by John Porter famed for his work with B.B. King.

W
ith over 500,000 records sold to date, this album will turn all preconceptions about Walter Trout firmly on their head.  As the title implies, "The Outsider" is a thought-provoking collection of songs that shows his true diversity. Often being pegged "too blues for rock" and "too rock for blues", Trout stays true to his belief that genres exists only for the critics. "The Outsider" is a not so subtle stab at the blues and rock establishments who try to brand, label and limit the expression within the genres.

“The Outsider” confirms Trout has always had more than one string to his bow.  Indeed, he has always shown his range from his first solo effort in the self-titled WALTER TROUT, to the follow-up release of FULL CIRCLE "to each and every Walter Trout release by including rocking riffing which highlight his duality of the two genres.

Joining Trout, who wrote all songs and sings in addition to playing guitar, is drummer Kenny Aronoff (John Mellencamp), bassist Hutch Hutchinson and pianist John Cleary, as well as Skip Edwards and Samuel Avila on the Hammond B3 and harmonica player Jason Ricci. This lethal combination of talent will embed into your soul and ease into your heart as the shredding notes meld blues and rock.

The Outsider”, on Provogue Records was produced by John Porter (B.B. King), The Outsider contains the following 13 songs:

'Welcome To The Human Race'
'The Next Big Thing'
'All My Life'
'The Love Song Of J. Alfred Bluesrock'
'Don't Wanna Fall'
'Child Of Another Day'
'Turn Your Eyes To Heaven'

Black Tide to Release Long-Awaited Debut 'Light From Above' March 18

Headline Dates To Follow Band's Current Tour With All That Remains & Chimaira

-- The wait is over. On March 18, Black Tide will release "Light From Above," their much-anticipated full-length debut on Interscope Records. Produced and Mixed by Johnny K [Disturbed, Finger Eleven, Machine Head], and recorded at K's Groovemaster Studios in Chicago, the release will be the culmination of a busy year for Miami-based teens, who shared last summer's OZZfest mainstage with Ozzy Osbourne and Lamb of God, and closed 2007 on the road in support of Avenged Sevenfold.

Currently touring with All That Remains and Chimaira, Black Tide -- lead singer/guitarist Gabriel Garcia (15), guitarist Alex Nunez (18), bassist Zakk Sandler (19) and drummer Steven Spence (19) -- will kick off a headlining run March 9, in Columbus, OH. The dates will be anchored by the band's CD release party March 19, at the Key Club on the legendary Sunset Strip in West Hollywood, CA.

Despite the fact that Garcia wasn't even alive during the Sunset Strip's celebrated heyday, Black Tide's no-holds-barred style of play already reminds many of hard rock and heavy metal's more spirited days. Spin magazine hails their, "jaw-dropping virtuosity," as, "a combination of Megadeth riffage, Metallica brutality and Guns N' Roses melodicism," [February 2008] and Revolver magazine agrees, describing their music as, "fueled by aggressively raw, streamlined thrash-metal riffs and tempered with catchy, hard rock choruses ... trading off rapid-fire guitar licks and searing, blindingly fast solos with surefooted precision." [March 2008]

The band recently shot their first video, "Shockwave," and plan on touring long into the year. Initial dates follow, with more to be announced:

-- South Africa recently hosted the country's biggest concert tour ever by a major international artist. Canadian superstar CELINE DION opened her world tour with an unprecedented nine city tour of South Africa, playing to capacity crowds, primarily in stadiums from coast to coast. She concluded her successful South African journey with two outdoor performances in Johannesburg on February 29 and March 1.

Though Celine has been performing in her record-breaking Las Vegas engagement for the past five years, it has been close to ten years since she has toured around the world. On her Taking Chances World tour, Celine is visiting many territories for the very first time, including this inaugural visit to South Africa, where she holds the record as the biggest selling artist of all time in that country.

During her nine city South African tour, Celine Dion played to more than 300,000 South Africans who were mesmerized by her incredible new show. Immediately following the South African leg, Celine continues her Taking Chances World Tour with performances in Japan, Korea, Australia, Malaysia and China. Soundtrack Album to Les Claypool's Jam Band Mockumentary 'National Lampoon Presents Electric Apricot: Quest for Festeroo' Features the Fictional Band Plus Jerry Garcia, Bob Weir, Gov't Mule, and More

'The greatest rock 'n' roll film since 'The Last Waltz'' (Matt Stone, 'South Park')

-- Metal had "This Is Spinal Tap," folk had "A Mighty Wind," and now Jam Bands have "National Lampoon Presents Electric Apricot: Quest For Festeroo." Taking an endearing and twisted look at the Jam Band scene, the film directorial and acting debut of Primus frontman Les Claypool has screened at festivals and in selected theaters, and will be released on DVD via National Lampoon on March 18, 2008, simultaneously with its soundtrack album.

"National Lampoon Presents Electric Apricot: Quest For Festeroo" (Hip-O/UMe/BAIT/National Lampoon) features the only known studio recordings of Electric Apricot, a band with no limits, no fear, and no clue -- their anthem "Hey Are You Going To Burning Man?," "Backroads Of My Mind," "Uncle Pete's Party" and "Sugar Train Blues" -- plus their epic live 19-minute "Yog Sagoff," recorded in May 2005 in Mill Valley, CA.

Also heard on "Quest For Festeroo" are the jam gems "Shady Grove" from Grateful Dead legend Jerry Garcia and David Grisman from 1996's SHADY GROVE album, Bob Weir (Grateful Dead, RatDog) with "Playing In The Band" from 1972's ACE, Gov't Mule led by Warren Haynes (Allman Brothers Band) with "Time To Confess" from 2002's THE DEEP END VOLUME 2, Primus guitarist Larry LaLonde with his electronic music masterpiece "Calling All Sand Worms," Michael Franti & Spearhead with "Everybody Ona Move" from 2006's "Yell Fire!," the classic "Fishing Blues" from Henry Thomas, and Stiff Dead Cat with a rockin' tribute to the Dead with their rendition of "Dire Wolf" from 2003's SNAKE OIL.

"National Lampoon Presents Electric Apricot" follows a young UCLA filmmaker yearning to make a music documentary that would redefine the genre. He finds Electric Apricot: drummer-singer Lapland "Lapdog" Miclovik (played by Claypool), singer-guitarist Steve "Gordo" Gordon, keyboardist-singer Herschel Tambor Brillstein, and bassist-singer Steve "Aiwass" Trouzdale. The mockumentary then follows the band as they record their first album and head for the Holy Grail of music festivals, Festeroo. Claypool embarks on his own two-month cross-country tour on February 14th.

Singer-Songwriter Landon Pigg Sets Out On 10 City Nationwide Club Tour

Hit Single 'Falling In Love At a Coffee Shop' Has Scanned Over 122k Units Since Being Featured in the 'A Diamond Is Forever' Campaign

-- RCA Records singer/songwriter Landon Pigg will set out on a nationwide club tour with fellow RCA Music Group label mate Gavin DeGraw. The 10-city tour kicks off on February 26th in Gainesville, FL and wraps on March 11th at the Knitting Factory in Los Angeles.

Landon's latest single "Falling In Love At a Coffee Shop" has experienced incredible success since being featured in the "A Diamond Is Forever" ad campaign. Over 122k downloads have been sold since the track was made available at the end of 2007 making it a Top 50 song at iTunes, and with the ad campaign renewed through March 2008 the song continues to rise weekly. Additionally, the track has been streamed over 321k times on Landon's MySpace page and it is now available as a ringtone.

This spring will see the release of a new, still untitled, EP that will be anchored by "Falling In Love At a Coffee Shop" and Landon plans to head back into the studio to continue recording. Since the release of his acclaimed debut disc in 2006, Landon (who has been compared to Coldplay, Radiohead and Elliott Smith to name a few) has been making friends and fans wherever he goes. The Nashville-based vocalist has been praised for his refreshing stage presence, with his live show adding another dimension to the recorded versions of his songs.

The critics raved about Landon's debut album, People Magazine said, "...he hails from the country music capital of Nashville, but he follows in the moody Brit-pop tradition of Coldplay and Radiohead...Pigg displays a keen sense of melody to go along with the melancholy..." Performing Songwriter raved, "Pigg can write exhilarating melodies and delivers them in an emotional, Thom Yorke-ish tenor that frequently spirals off into lilting falsetto. In short, he keeps you listening." Teen Vogue declared, "With singer-songwriter sensibilities and pitch perfect vocals, Landon picks up where Pete Yorn left off."

  Landon is available for interviews.

-- Globally recognized and acclaimed rock musician Lenny Kravitz is set to hit the road today on his exclusive "Get on the Bus with the Love Revolution" club tour. Featuring only 9 select markets, the outing will kick off this evening at Santa Monica, California's Civic Center. The tour will culminate at New York City's Hammerstein Ballroom and be followed the following week by a slew of high profile television performances and interviews on Good Morning America, The Late Show With David Letterman, Live With Regis and Kelly, MTV's TRL and BET's 106th & Park to kick off the release of his 8th studio album It Is Time For A Love Revolution.

Virgin Records recording artist Lenny Kravitz joined forces with MySpace to launch the tour via an exclusive contest with the world's most popular social network. From November 14th through November 20th, the MySpace community was offered a chance to enter and win the opportunity to travel on a Kravitz-designed custom 'Love Revolution' tour bus and become part of the artist's tour family on the road with full backstage access to the live concert event. The 10 lucky winners and their guests were selected to join him on the road and will participate in a photo shoot that will appear in the February issue of YRB with Lenny on the cover.

The "Get on the Bus with the Love Revolution Tour" is happening in conjunction with the release of Lenny Kravitz's It Is Time For A Love Revolution. Featuring 14 new songs, including the singles "Bring It On" and "I'll Be Waiting," the album is the artist's first new release in over three years. As the title indicates, the album is a thunderous rock 'n roll call-to-arms featuring Kravitz singing songs of a love revolution backed by a universal blend of soul, funk, and jazz grooves and the undeniable, anthemic lyricism that's been his trademark from day one.

The tour currently has nine scheduled stops in the US and will run from January 17th to February 1st. Sponsored by Champion and Southwest Airlines, the tour will be hitting cities such as San Francisco, Los Angeles, Denver, Minneapolis, Chicago, Detroit, Boston, Philadelphia and New York.

As co-sponsors of the Lenny Kravitz "Love Revolution Tour," Chase and Southwest Airlines will offer a select number of tickets especially for Southwest Rapid Rewards Visa card members for Denver, San Francisco and Philadelphia concerts.

James Blunt Unveils the "2008 LOST SOULS TOUR"; Presented by VH1 "You Oughta Know" and Featuring Special Guest "You Oughta Know" Artist Sara Bareilles

Globe-Spanning Itinerary Hits North America in February; Ticket Presale Begins Wednesday, November 14th, With Public on Sale Set for Saturday, November 17th

NEW YORK, NY- November 13, 2007) - Custard/Atlantic recording artist James Blunt has announced details of his upcoming North American tour, part of his extensive "2008 LOST SOULS TOUR." The highly anticipated headlining tour celebrates the release of Blunt's new album, "ALL THE LOST SOULS." Presented by VH1 "You Oughta Know," the tour kicks off in February '08 and will feature special guest Sara Bareilles.

"I am really pleased to be returning to the U.S. on my 2008 world tour," said Blunt. "We've had some of our most memorable shows in America on past tours, and I am so excited to be playing out some of the material from my new album, 'ALL THE LOST SOULS,' for my U.S. fans."

The month-long LOST SOULS tour is set to kick off on February 4, 2008 at Seattle's Moore Theatre. From there, the British superstar will play a series of major dates across North America, culminating on March 4th at Atlanta's The Tabernacle (see attached itinerary). Pre-sale tickets will be available via Blunt's official fan site www.jamesblunt.com tomorrow, November 14th, with remaining tickets going on sale to the public on Saturday, November 17th.

As with 2006's hugely successful "Back To Bedlam World Tour," Blunt will once again use the tour as an opportunity to raise funds for Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), the international medical humanitarian organization whose life-saving work he first encountered while stationed with the British army in Kosovo, where he served as a reconnaissance officer with the NATO peacekeeping force. A personal, one-on-one aftershow meet-and-greet with James will be auctioned after each and every show, to both increase awareness and generate much-needed monies for DWB/MSF.

What's more, Blunt is being joined on tour in his native UK and in Europe by Friends of the Earth, the influential grassroots network that has for decades been at the forefront of high-profile efforts to create a more healthy, just world. Friends of the Earth's role on the road has been to assist James in increasing awareness of global climate change, while also putting pressure on the world's governments to begin acting on the issue.

James recently filmed the companion video for his new single, "Same Mistake," with famed director Jonas Akerlund (Madonna, The Prodigy, Maroon 5). The video, which is garnering much attention for its thematic elements, premiered this past weekend on VH1's Top 20 countdown. The video can be viewed via the following link: http://vsyndication.wmg.com/tip.html?bcpid=824272798&bctid=1289940352.

Blunt is currently slated to appear on a number of high-profile TV programs in the coming weeks. The appearances begin on November 18th when he is a presenter at the 35th annual American Music Awards. He will then perform "Same Mistake" on "The Late Show with David Letterman" on November 20th followed on November 23rd by a morning performance on "Live with Regis and Kelly." On December 11th James will appear on "The View," and then on CBS' annual seasonal celebration, "A Home For The Holidays," scheduled for broadcast on December 21st. The performances follow Blunt's recent string of major television appearances heralding the release of "ALL THE LOST SOULS," including the "Today" show, "Ellen DeGeneres," "Late Night with Conan O'Brien," as well as "Nightline" and "Jimmy Kimmel Live!."

"ALL THE LOST SOULS" was recorded and mixed in Los Angeles with producer Tom Rothrock, who also oversaw Blunt's history-making debut, "BACK TO BEDLAM." The collection features several songs that became road-tested favorites in the course of Blunt's marathon touring during 2006 -- including "1973," "I Really Want You," "Same Mistake," and "Annie." The album has also drawn expansive critical praise. "He shows the abandon and confidence of a long-term artist," raved Billboard. "Sounding like John Mayer channeling Jeff Buckley in the middle of Abbey Road, each of Blunt's songs are infused with love, loss and confusion, but are rendered so elegantly that it sounds like he's got everything figured out...There's not a misstep throughout."

"KEVIN MICHAEL" -- which features the breakthrough first single "It Don't Make Any Difference To Me (feat. Wyclef Jean)" -- arrives on the heels of much critical praise.

In its 4-star review of "KEVIN MICHAEL," Blender declared, "Justin Timberlake, meet your new competition." Vibe called him "refreshingly honest," and YRB gave the album 4 stars.

This week, MTV named Michael one of their "Discover & Download" artists, and added the video for "It Don't Make Any Difference To Me" into Big 10 rotation. He was also named one of mtvU's "Freshman 5" new artists of the summer.

Michael will begin a U.S. tour with Maroon 5 and The Hives on October 15 in Boston (see itinerary below). He has recently shared stages with Lily Allen and Musiq Soulchild, and performed last summer at Lollapalooza in Chicago.

In other news, Michael performed last week on the ABC Family series, "Lincoln Heights." Rhapsody selected him as one of their "Ones To Watch" for the month of September. Both YouTube and MySpace have recently featured the companion video for "It Don't Make Any Difference To Me." Earlier this year, iTunes chose another of Kevin Michael's tracks, "We All Want The Same Thing," as their "Single of the Week," while the song was also featured in a national Verizon ad campaign.

"KEVIN MICHAEL" is a stunning statement of purpose from a remarkably talented young musician, a phenomenal collection that extends the long creative tradition of R&B by imagining it anew. Michael's irresistible blend of classic soul, funk, pop, and R&B -- featured on tracks like the soaring "If I Ain't Got You" and the anthemic "We All Want The Same Thing" -- conjures up greats from the past while also bringing something totally new to the game. The album follows Michael's debut release, the iTunes exclusive EP, "YA DIG?"

HIM's New Album "Venus Doom" Enters Billboard Chart at Number 12; Finnish Rock Band's Highest Debut to Date With More Than 40,000 Copies Sold

NEW YORK, NY--- September 26, 2007) - "Venus Doom," the new album from Sire recording artists HIM, captured the No.12 spot this week on Billboard's Hot 100 chart -- the Finnish rock band's highest debut to date. Released on September 18th "Venus Doom" was named one of Alternative Press' "Most Anticipated Albums of 2007." Spin gave it four stars in its review, while Blender called it "brutal. Ballsy. Extreme... you might even sneak in a sexy and still be on point."

The band -- singer Ville Valo, guitarist Linde, bassist Mige, keyboardist Burton, and drummer Gas -- have been collaborating on the songs that appear on "Venus Doom" since last year when their previous release, "Dark Light," went gold in the U.S., making HIM the first-ever band from Finland to go gold in America. The band recorded "Venus Doom" this past spring with noted producer Tim Palmer (Ozzy Osborne, U2 and Duran Duran) with the intention of recapturing the signature sound of their highly acclaimed 2003 album "Love Metal."

Also noteworthy is the band's logo, which has been likened to the Rolling Stones' Tongue, The Ramones' Seal, and the Grateful Dead Skull. HIM's symbol -- the marriage of a heart and a pentagram called the Heart-a-Gram -- has been glimpsed on "Jackass" (on star Bam Margera), Kat Von D's "LA Ink," and on countless fans across Europe and the U.S.

HIM's first single "Kiss Of Dawn" has already been added to MTV2's regular rotation on "You Rock The Deuce" and is currently being played on "Steven's Untitled Rock Show" on Fuse. HIM have recently finished up a major tour with Linkin Park on the latter's Projekt Revolution extravaganza, and will begin their own headlining tour in New York City in mid-October. The Jagermeister Music Tour Presents: The Cult

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y., Sept. 24 -- The Fall 2007 installment of the hugely popular Jagermeister Music Tour will take a totally new turn with rock favorites, The Cult. The Tour kicks off on October 17th and runs through mid-December.

The tour coincides with the release of the multi-platinum band's highly anticipated forthcoming release, Born Into This, set to hit on October 2nd via Roadrunner Records in conjunction with The Cult's imprint label, New Wilderness. This is the band's first new studio album since 2001 and was recorded in London with producer Youth (Verve, Primal Scream).

The Cult, one of Britain's premier rock bands, has continuously broken through genres and defied classification with hit songs like "She Sells Sanctuary," "Rain," and "Love Removal Machine." Ian Astbury's distinct vocals and Billy Duffy's soaring, riff-heavy guitar combine for a sound that has set the band off down their very own idiosyncratic path.

Fresh from a series of summer festivals and European arena shows with rock legends The Who, The Cult will now reign as headliners on the 2007 Jagermeister Music Tour.

"The Cult is the perfect headlining band for the Jagermeister Tour because of their sound and image," says Rick Zeiler, Director of Marketing and Brand Development for Jagermeister. "This band continues to produce great music while sticking to their roots of nonconformity. We're big fans of The Cult and look forward to the kickoff of this fall's Jagermeister Music Tour." The band is also excited to be hitting the road with the Jagermeister tour: "Given our long history as a live act, the Cult are delighted to partner up with Jagermeister, clearly long time supporters of live music and authentic touring musicians," says Billy Duffy.

The bill will be rounded out by VietNam, The Cliks, and Action Action. Texas' VietNam is a hard-driving mix of rock and hair. Rolling Stone called their 2007 debut album " ... a freewheeling record with dashes of Sixties psychedelia and skronk-y noise -- and open-armed sing-alongs, to boot." Meanwhile, The Cliks are celebrating the release of their album, Snakehouse. The Boston Globe exclaimed that "The Cliks, a foursome from Toronto, rock with primal, stylish ferocity reminiscent of the early Pretenders." New York's own Action Action has been compared to Interpol and The Killers. Rick Anderson of AllMusic.com wrote, " ... you'll have a hard time resisting the perfect popcraft on songs like "Photograph" and "This Year's Fashion."

Going on six years, the Jagermeister Music Tour, produced by Live Nation, is better than ever and has become THE rock show to see. This year's tour will feature a local Jagermeister band on every one of the dates through December. Fans will not only have the opportunity to experience a great show, but will also have a chance to snag some great Jagermeister prizes and giveaways like Jagermeister bands' compilation CDs, as well as plenty of Jagermeister shirts, hats, and more. Other prizes and giveaways from sponsors include custom tour prizes from Schecter Guitars, JVC Mobile Electronics, and Peavey Electronics. *

The Jagermeister Music Tour will be advertised in print and on radio. For more information, check out http://www.jagermeistermusictour.com/ or http://www.thecult.us/ . Tickets on sale soon!
